The Flairon is a flail that also releases a bunch of homing bubbles, and is technically a melee weapon, so it works with beetle armor. The Tempest staff summons the strongest minions we can get right now and is useful for the Pumpkin Moon event if you aren't cheesing it, otherwise just get the Flairon. The ideal weapon drops are the Flairon and the Tempest Staff. When you get to the end of the bridge, or DF has caught up to you and is wrecking you, fly high in the air (to avoid any tornados) and away from him, this will give you a bit of space to get things back under control. The tornado now homes in on you, but the same pattern applies. The 2nd form is much harder, as DF moves much faster, so it's harder to keep away from him. The bubbles will be destroyed by the knives and the tornado will not activate until you're out of its range. Generally speaking you want to run away from him, jump over him after the 2nd charge, and then jump over him after the 5th charge (the others should miss you) while constantly shooting your knives at him. The damage reduction and healing from the vampire knives make this fight much easier than it would be otherwise. When you take a hit, the damage is reduced by 45% and a beetle disappears. The main advantage of the beetle scale mail set is that you'll see beetles floating around you, each of these is a charge of the set bonus.

The turtle shells are dropped by the tortiose enemies. To make the Turtle set, you need 54 chlorophyte bars and 3 turtle shells. To make the beetle armor you need the turtle armor set and 18 beetle husks, which are dropped by Golem. I prefer the vampire knives for this fight, along with the beetle armor set (scale mail armor piece), and make sure you have a cobalt shield along with all the buff potions. He alternates between the 2 after he charges at you. DF charges at you a few times, and then uses either a bubble spewing attack, or summons a tornado that shoots sharks at you. You'll want a house right on the edge of the ocean with a bed for a spawn point, as it's a long walk otherwise. Then fish in either ocean biome with the truffle worm to spawn him, then jump up to your skybridge and fight him there. You'll want to expand your skybridge so it's close to an ocean biome, if it isn't close already. It randomly spawns in mushroom biomes and runs away when you get close, so you have to be fairly quick to catch it with a net. You can try the events you need to do (detailed later) and then see if you want to fight the boss or not. However you can skip it if you really want to. If you're up for another boss fight, Duke Fishron is a side boss you can fight that drops a few great weapons. With all the done, on to the rest of the achievements. It's a lot of work, but there's not any other choices. Lastly set up an area in the middle like a surface farm, with a lava pit and a water candle and such, and then afk.

Otherwise they'll sit offscreen and do nothing. This is important because the dart traps will automatically fire and will hit any mimics that spawn so they'll attack you. Then press on the timer to activate the dart trap. Now make 1 second timers (made with a gold/platinum watch and a wire, the watches need 10 bars of gold/platinum and a chain) and use a wrench and wire to connect them to the dart traps. Now you need 2 dart traps (you can find plenty in the dungeon or temple) and place them at either end of the platform. So when considering where to place this, make sure the spot you'll be standing is in the biome you need. So, if I stand on the platform I get snow biome enemies (like the ice mimic), but if I move down to the area on the left, I get generic cavern enemies (like the vampire miner).
